Interview with b0b lee, maintainer of the Steel Guitar Forum (http://steelguitarforum.com) and creator of the b0badel BBS software package. Conducted in Cloverdale, California on May 31, 2003. I was woken that morning in a hotel in the middle of Cloverdale with the news of the birth of my cousin's daughter, Rhiannon Marie.
Interview subjects include the first time b0b encountered BBSes, real life meetings of BBS users, the unique experience of using BBSes, the b0badel software (and comparison of citadel and other packages) and some of the characters met over the years.

Update: It was very sad to hear that Bob died last Tuesday, March 7th 2023, at around 10:30 AM. He was at home, listening to the Beatles, "All You Need Is Love."

Review: Just a mild mannered man who ran a board back in the day and took us on a trip down memory lane. Nothing ground breaking here, didn't really dive too deep into BBS's or how he ran his board but knowing that a few days ago Bob dialed up the BBS in the sky makes it really special that this interview is on tape as the more I've read about him online the more I realize how many lives he's touched. So regardless of the topics on hand, a huge thank you to Jason for getting so much of this man on tape to live on forever.
Fun Trivial - related to MORE(Modemers of the Redwood Empire). Bob was a FOURTH programmer, which is an incredibly niche programming language. The creator of the language is Chuck MOORE. Perhaps the acronym was a nod to him, hmmmmm?
